An Austrian Palace Desk with Clock

Late 19th Century , European & Bronze Marquetry.  The clock in the centre works by Lenz Kirch 1891, 8 day Platform Escapement. (working with key)

 This Magnificent desk came from Schloss Leopoldskron Palace in the southern district of Salzburg, Austria. Inside the the middle drawer is the Palace inventory number. 

There are two hidden compartments behind the the faux books on either side of the clock , it is 39in wide by 21in deep by 44in tall.
